Hey explorers! Want to get lost in the world of science? Science has given us many valuable things in our lives. The world of science is a different world. Let me show you guys a small part of it. You guys must have seen various types of trains but have you ever seen a train which works with magnets? Yes, there exists such a train which is called 'Maglev train'.
It works on the principle of repulsion in magnets. In it, two sets of electro magnets are used. One to repel and push the train up off the track and the other to move the elevated train ahead by taking the advantage of the lack of friction. By this way, the train rises approximately 4 inches off the track. The electro magnets control the stability and speed of the train.
It has a speed of 600 kilometers per hour. Currently, it is in countries like South Korea, Japan and China. The fun part is that it travels faster than a bullet train! Young scientists, the question I have for you is that do you guys know where this train was developed and when?
