The Dream Catcher: Ch-4 Grandma's Dream
Ch-4
Grandma's dream
I started to get suspicious about the Dream Catcher. Days were flying like wind and it was one month now since grandpa was missing. I went to my school and public libraries of the city to know about the Dream catcher. One hot and sunny day, I went to a library in the Green Square, a famous place where evergreen trees were there to study about the dream catcher. There I found a book in the farthest corner of the library.
I admired all the pages of the book. The title of the book was The Hidden Truth of the Dream Catcher by Robert Acker. It was written that there was a Dream Catcher created by a Amleek God (Amlees is a country) called Sluto of the underworld to destroy a demon named Corinre Agre of Lisban. The powers of the Dream catcher were also written there. The main power of the dream catcher was that it couldn't be destroyed by any God, human or animal except the King of Gods, Odepos who was the most powerful among all the Gods and it was believed that he had created the Universe. It was written that Sluto had given the dream catcher to Odepos's son Lame but Lame cheated them and gave the dream catcher to Corinre Agre and he also killed his father to become the king but later he was also killed by Corinre and after that there was a massive battle between the Corinre and Sluto's army and the devil won due to the powers of the dream catcher and the dream catcher fell on the Earth from Heaven during the war and no one knows till now where the Dream Catcher is. Once during the eighteenth century, an English historian named Mattis Davies was in America. He was searching some precious stones when he saw something shining like a diamond. He took it in his lab to study about it but it is believed that the dream catcher was stolen on the night it was found. There was a picture of the Dream catcher too which stunned me because it was the same dream catcher that was in Grandpa's room. I asked the librarian about it but he told that he had just joined 2 days ago and didn't know about all the books properly. He suggested to meet the old librarian, Mr. Leo. He gave me the address and I went there with the book as soon as possible. I called my mom to tell that I would be late.
It took me nearly half an hour to reach there. The house was on the outskirts of the city. While I was about to reach there and was just 5 kilometres away, I saw that there were no vendors nor houses in that area. Neither any human nor any animal. When I arrived there I saw a house made of wood with a red coloured roof. There was a fence made of iron around the house. Neither any empty plot was there. I was getting anxious when I was about to enter inside the house. There was no doorbell so I knocked at the door and asked ," Is anyone there? Is Mr. Leo in there?" I did not got any reply so I asked again. This time I heard a old, creepy voice saying, "Who is it?" I replied, "I am Kimmie. I have come here to meet Mr. Leo, the librarian." "You may come in." The house was more scary from inside than outside. Tables and all the other furniture in the house were covered with dirt. There were many stains on the floor too. There was a lot of silence and I could only hear the tick-tock of the clock. Then I saw a old, bony man with a stick coming towards me. He was wearing white shirt and white pants. It was like a scene of a horror movie because there was darkness everywhere and the only source of light there was one candle that was lit in the centre of the house. The man came towards me and asked me to take a seat. I told him why I had come there and he remained quiet for a minute after listening to me. He looked at me with astonishment while I was speaking. He then asked me," Are you David Frankstons grand-daughter?" I replied in the affirmative because David Frankston was my grandpa's name. He then asked me," Do you know about the Dream Catcher?" I again replied with a yes. He also asked about grandpa and I told him the whole story. He patted on my head and said," Dear, I am your grandpa's best friend. We were neighbours during our childhood and we both became traders when we grew up. After few years, I opened a library." He was just about to say something like Magical dre... when he stopped and told me that he could not tell me the whole story but will only tell one thing and he then said," It is the real form of a dream game like a trap. Never go in it until you know the whole trap." He then took a deep breath and told me to go from there. I requested him to tell me about the book but he denied and sent me out of the house and slammed the door.

I was very angry with how he behaved. I went home and it was evening by then. I went to the library once again and purchased the book permanently. Mr. Leo's words were echoing in my ears. I took a bath after going home and the maids told me that papa and mama had an important client so they will come home late. I ate my dinner, looked at the dream catcher once and went to my room to sleep but I was not able to sleep properly that night. The next day, I was tired and it was Sunday so I slept in the evening and around 6 PM in the evening, I had a dream. In that dream I saw an old lady who was speaking in a low and sweet voice that Kimmie I am your granny. I could not see the lady's face clearly in the starting but could only see some clouds.I thought that it was not a dream because everything was same like grandpa's room. I later recognised her face too. It was grandma only. She then said, "Please don't worry about your grandpa. He is with me and safe." She then went near the Dream catcher and the moment she touched it, a pink light came from the dream catcher and she disappeared. I started speaking while I was sleeping only, "Grandma please don't go, please!" One of the maids woke me up and asked if everything was ok. Without answering to any of the question the maid asked, I ran to grandpa's room and noticed a white hair near the dream catcher. At first I thought that it must be my dream but after seeing this white hair puzzled me fully.
To be continued...
